The kids played catch for a while
Then we used nature to draw a picture for Uncle Missionary
The nice thing about Santaquin canyon is people can go up and down easily as needed. The bad thing about that is people leave. This particular day we were down to Uncle M, Small Fry and myself. Small Fry really wanted to go dragon hunting for the 20th time so we went yet again while Uncle M stayed at camp.
At the end of our dragon hunt we started to walk up the path to the campsite when Uncle M yelled to not come any closer. There happened to be a little friend in the campsite we shouldn't come to close to.
He had just wandered in and started eating the garbage and a little food we had left out. We weren't quite sure what to do so we just watched the little guy for awhile while keeping our distance. I wasn't too worried because Uncle M had a little protection. (This pic was taken by Small Fry)
He eventually left but came back 2 more times that evening before finally running off. We stayed the night there but they ended up closing the campground anyway. They wanted to set traps to catch it and relocate it. So we moved to Payson canyon to start over.
Mom was nice and warm while wearing Uncle Missionary's Jacket! =)
Small Fry used the squirter as a cane and walked around being "grandpa" for a really long time
This is Small Fry's bed. Looks empty doesn't it. Well let's look deep down in the sleeping bag
There's more blanket, and then underneath that....
a little sleeping Small Fry. I just don't get how he could breathe in there!
There was a deer that loved to visit our campsite. She's used to people and loves chips. These are the kids enticing her to come eat chips out of their hands. She came over and ate them a couple of times. The kids were sooo excited about it.
I have more but that's probably enough camping. We had a great time and Small Fry has already asked several times to go back.

Enoch said "mom looks like they are at the zoo" He was surprised when I told him that wasn't a zoo at all.
